On July 29, 1945, only a week before the Atom Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, a Bomber Plane hit the Empire State Building. Fourteen people were reported killed and damage occurred, but the building did not fall. Elaine Meli, my mom, saved these newspaper articles.
